MOSTAQBAL is currently seeking a highly qualified “Planning and Contract Engineer” to join our team at our main office in Amman.
Key Responsibilities:
– Applying and implementing all contractual issues.
– Application of principles and techniques to problems of estimation.
– Responsible for controlling and monitoring the project’s total expenditure, including verifying and checking invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded.
– Perform technical review of tenders (subcontractor’s quotations) for the preparation of Service agreements.
– Ensure effective project implementation and utilize productive reports with the use of a project management system to monitor the status of all purchases, invoicing, and delivery up to the closure of the project.
– To arrive at accurate cost estimates and schedules and to avoid cost overruns and schedule slips.
– Coordinate and work with the project management team to resolve project issues to ensure the delivery/completion of the project work.
– Site visits and attending project meetings and discussions with clients and contractors.
– Planning and scheduling project activity, resources, time, cost, claims, and risk.
– Performing other related duties as required
Education and Experience:
· BSc degree in Civil Engineering
· 6- 7 years of experience
· Time management skills
· Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Computer literacy: MS Office, Primavera, Internet, and email,
· Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Arabic.
