The Royal Health Awareness Society is looking to hire a qualified candidate for the position of “Accounting Coordinator” within The Finance Department , as per the following requirements:
Main roles & responsibilities:
– Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and relevant accounting standards, as well as compliance with local regulations and donor requirements.
– Transaction Processing: Process financial transactions, such as vendor invoices, Tax and social security, Volunteers’ payments, employee reimbursements, and donor contributions, in a timely and accurate manner.
– Payment Issuing: Prepares all payments / cheques and transfers to all internal and external stakeholders and follow up the receipt of the payments by the concerned party(AR/AP)
– Bank Reconciliation: Performs monthly bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
– Maintain and update procurement tracker sheet on a daily basis to make sure that all related financial transactions are reflected.
– Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for RHAS, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and expense reports.
– Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial reports for internal stakeholders and external donors, providing valuable insights into the organization’s financial health.
– Auditing Support: Provide support during internal and external audits, assisting with the preparation of necessary documentation and responding to auditors’ inquiries.
Qualifications & Skills :
> Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
> Minimum (1-2) years of related experience in finance department. Programs administration with local NGO/ INGO is preferred.
> Previous Knowledge of Accounting Systems “ERP Financial System is a MUST
> Proficiency in spoken and written English
> Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
> ERP proficiency is a must.
