Job Description

An Assistant Manager – Warehouse Operations is an integral role within the logistics and supply chain management sphere, focusing on assisting in the seamless operation of warehouse functions. Responsibilities

 

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities to maintain productivity.
• Assist in the development and implementation of warehouse policies and procedures.

• Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods in a timely manner.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse staff to maximize their performance.
• Identify areas for performance improvement and initiate necessary actions.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate with other departments to streamline warehouse operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues related to warehouse delays.
• Develop and track key performance indicators to assess operational efficiency.
• Analyze operational data and make recommendations for process improvements.

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations management.
• Strong leadership skills with experience supervising a diverse team.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
