The Royal Scientific Society seeks a seasoned Information Technology professional for one of its projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for spearheading the modernization of our digital infrastructure, implementing scalable cloud-based systems, strengthening our cybersecurity frameworks, and ensuring all IT functions support our overarching strategic objectives. This role involves the oversight of enterprise-level platforms, including Microsoft Exchange, Azure, SharePoint, and our monitoring systems.
Key Responsibilities Include:
· Developing and implementing the digital transformation roadmap.
· Managing our hybrid IT infrastructure and enterprise cloud services.
· Enhancing our cybersecurity posture, risk management protocols, and data governance.
· Supervising distributed IT operations, licensing, and vendor relationships.
· Leading cross-functional teams and providing progress updates to executive management.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
· A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in the IT field, with at least 4 years in a leadership capacity.
· A Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline (a Master’s degree is preferred).
· Demonstrated expertise in cloud infrastructure, particularly within Microsoft environments.
· A strong understanding of information security, compliance standards, and digital governance.
· Relevant professional certifications (such as CISSP, PMP, ITIL, or Microsoft Certified) are advantageous.
This is a significant opportunity to drive digital modernization within a key economic empowerment program in Jordan.
