Job Title:
API Integration & Systems Developer – Travel Technology
Overview:
We’re looking for a skilled and solutions-driven developer to join our travel technology team. In this role, you’ll lead the integration of airline and GDS APIs into scalable, high-performance backend systems. If you have a passion for travel tech and a knack for building clean, efficient systems that move data reliably across platforms—this role is for you.
What You’ll Do:
* Design, develop, and maintain integrations with airline and GDS APIs.
* Build backend services and middleware that power seamless travel operations.
* Optimize database structures and data flows to ensure speed and accuracy.
* Partner with cross-functional teams (IT, Revenue, Ops) to translate business needs into technical solutions.
* Monitor, debug, and enhance API performance to ensure system reliability and uptime.
What You Bring:
– Solid experience integrating APIs within airline, GDS, or similar travel ecosystems.
– Strong backend development skills (Python, php, Node.js, or similar).
– Proficiency in database design and performance tuning (SQL, NoSQL).
– Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
– Ability to manage end-to-end projects independently.
– Sharp problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of travel-related data flows.
Nice to Have:
– Background in airline, OTA, or travel technology platforms.
– Technical certifications related to airline/GDS systems or cloud services.
– Experience with caching, data sync strategies, and real-time data processing.
