Position Description

As a Product Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the adoption and effective use of Applied Medical’s products in surgical settings. As a Product Specialist, you will play a key role within a collaborative team, performing the following responsibilities:

• Develop an in-depth knowledge of key surgical procedures and products used by customers.
• Develop knowledge of healthcare systems, market dynamics, and the competitor landscape in the respective country.
• Build and maintain positive and strong relationships with all key stakeholders and decision makers internally and externally.
• Arrange and attend appointments with surgeons and hospital medical teams.
• Provide clinical support and demonstrations to surgeons, healthcare providers, and new team members, both inside the OR and in other business settings.
• Attend procedures to ascertain in-field product performance and market development opportunities.
• Help facilitate adoption of new/alternative surgical techniques and practices.
• Implement plans and strategies to achieve sales goals in collaboration with other stakeholders.
• Building and maintaining positive working relationships with medical staff, supporting administration staff, and other stakeholders, providing the highest level of support and service to assigned accounts in collaboration with other Applied Medical team members.
• Manage full breadth of products in hospitals and the OR.
• Meet or exceed set targets as established by the management team.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer interactions, sales activities, and opportunities in the CRM system.

Position Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in dynamic environments.
• High level of professionalism and commitment to ethical standards.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or Nursing.

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical, healthcare, or medical device environment preferred.
