Job Opportunity – Junior Accountant
📍 Location: Baghdad, Karrada

Job Responsibilities:
Assisting the accounting department with daily accounting tasks.
· Entering and archiving daily journal entries.
· Assisting in preparing documents for the audit file.
· Performing bank reconciliations.
· Assisting in reviewing payment and receipt vouchers and cash advance settlements.
· Monitoring and reviewing debts related to government sales, corporate sales, and direct sales.
· Extracting customer account statements and reconciling them.
· Resolving discrepancies in accounts receivable and payable (if any), responding to inquiries, and reviewing account statements.
· Following up on the company’s debts and entitlements with third parties, ensuring their settlement by collecting dues or fulfilling obligations in a timely manner.
· Performing any tasks assigned by the direct manager.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Banking.
1-2 years of experience in accounting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
