Job description:

Job Scope:

The Data Administrator is responsible for ensuring that all product data within the Retail system is accurate, current,
and consistently updated. This role involves monitoring data integrity, implementing data updates, and maintaining
the smooth flow of information to support business operations in alignment with the department key objectives.

 

Key Activities and Responsibilities:

 

Technical:

• Maintain, create and update item data on the internal purchasing system
• Generate purchase orders forms in coordination with the buying team
• Process and track Return to Vendor (RTV) requests and process; raise recommendations for enhancement; if
  needed
• Implement price and discount updates; communicate changes to stores through detailed reporting
• Create and execute product conversions (make-up/break-up) following the direct manager feedback
• Compile and distribute weekly stock reports to local vendors; liaise as needed upon the direct manager’s
  request
• Support the retail team in resolving barcode discrepancies, handling special requests, and initiating product
  transfers
• Monitor and ensure accurate execution of stock distribution, pricing adjustments, discounts, and return to
  vendor procedures
• Assist in resolving inventory discrepancies and follow up on the stock distribution
• Manage product hierarchy structure and upload product primary content on the e-commerce template

Other

• Maintain effective coordination and alignment with the Retail team for optimal results and successful
  initiatives
• Ensure compliance with authority matrix, code of conduct and ABC policies and procedures
• Stay up to date with the latest developments, best practices in the field
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned based on business needs

 

Qualifications and requirements:

 

Education:

• Bachelor degree in business or equivalent

 

Knowledge and experience:

• No previous experience required
• Intermediate Excel knowledge is required
