About The Role

We are looking for a Junior Compliance Officer to help ensure our operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, industry-specific standards, and internal company policies. Your duties will include preparing vendor and customer forms, drafting various company policies, assisting in developing and implementing compliance programs, performing risk assessments, and monitoring activities to detect potential violations. In this role, you will collaborate with various departments to provide guidance on compliance matters, promote awareness, and assist in investigations related to compliance issues. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to upholding ethical standards are essential for success in this role.

This is a remote role, but we’re especially looking for candidates located in Algeria, Pakistan, or India.

The candidate would be expected to work in the Irish time zone.

Duties and Responsibilities

As Junior Compliance Officer at Evercam, you will:

• Respond to compliance queries: Prepare vendor and customer forms based on company policies and related entity data. This extends to insurance-related tasks, where the candidate would be expected to apply for and manage the insurance renewal process in all regions where Evercam operates.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, violations, and corrective actions taken. Prepare reports for management and regulatory/standard agencies as required.
• Compliance Monitoring: Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Policy Development and Implementation: Support the development, review, and implementation of compliance policies and procedures. Ensure that employees are aware of and adhere to these policies through communication efforts.
• Regulatory Research: Stay updated on changes in regulations and industry best practices relevant to Evercam’s operations.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, operations, and HR to ensure a coordinated approach to compliance efforts. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to foster a culture of compliance.
• Support Compliance Projects: Participate in special projects or initiatives undertaken by the Compliance team, such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2 implementation.
