Job Summary

JOB DESCRIPTION

Join our diverse team in North Middle East Region, as Sr. Sales Engineer, Flow Controls with base location as Doha.

The candidate must have a knowledge of Hydro-Carbon and Power & Water market with a proven background in valves / instrumentation. In this role, you will work with Control Valves business group to identify market opportunities, tailor strategies to meet customer needs, drive profitable growth and deliver valuable insights on industry trends.

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Developing new sales leads using your deep understanding of the customers, particularly applications of control valves in improving efficiency, safety and environmental compliance.
  • Use your expertise in analyzing existing business strategies and recommending future growth initiatives, forecasts and intelligence.
  • Developing and managing a pipeline of sales leads, ensuring a seamless transition from business development to sales that meets business goals and targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with key decision-makers to successfully position Flow Controls solutions as No Equal or the preferred supplier.
  • Drive brownfield projects, MRO/Lifecycle services opportunities throughout the assigned accounts.
  • Perform Site Surveys (Site Walks) to generate opportunities.
  • Participating in industry seminars and events representing Emerson and promoting its solutions in the market. Keep up to date with developments in products, industries and market trends.
  • Ensure Business Unit plans, and key initiatives are consistent with account plans and are implemented in a timely professional manner.
  • Keep up to date with developments in product solutions, industries and market trends.
  • Fulfil any other reasonable duties as required.

For this role, you will need:

 

  • Technical educational background, bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or any related field.
  • Strong experience (7 to 10 years) in Sales, preferably Valves.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

 

  • Understanding of Control Valve and its applications, with Industry knowledge
  • Strong presentation skills with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work at all levels, for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proficiency in English (verbal, reading, and writing), Arabic will be an advantage
