Job Announcement: Senior Logistics Officer – Automotive
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform orders of new car vehicles & submitted to the direct manager.
- Update the stock list daily.
- Develop daily reports of sales.
- Submit PDI requests for the workshop.
- Handle insurance policies.
- Handle the extended warranty files.
- Prepare all documents needed for new car shipment.
- Process the purchase orders by liaising with suppliers or principals.
- Review stock purchase by monitoring market conditions, current stock levels, and lead time required for manufacturing, potential price increase, anticipation of new orders from customers, suppliers conditions.
- Ensure all purchases are approved within mandated guidelines.
- Negotiate on price, cost, delivery, and specifications with suppliers.
- Assist in the sourcing locally and overseas for new goods not supplied by regular principals/suppliers.
- Arrange freight and liaise with forwarders on services and costs.
- Manage the local and overseas purchase enquiries.
Qualifications & Skills:

- 3 – 5 Â Â years’ experience in automotive field.
- Good command of English language.
- Well organized, dedicated, hardworking and a teamwork.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Ability to keep records with attention to detail.
- Presentable and Mature.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
- Multitasking and prioritizing.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Problem-solving.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Attention to detail.
- Professional phone handling and etiquette.
