Job Vacancy: Purchasing Manager
Location: Amman
Job Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all purchasing activities to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality procurement of goods.
Develop and implement strategic procurement plans aligned with company objectives.
Build, manage, and maintain strong commercial relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring long-term partnerships and mutual value.
Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to secure the best pricing and service levels.
Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or service.
Conduct regular market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and new sources of supply.
Supervise the purchasing team, set departmental KPIs, and support professional development.
Collaborate closely with sales, inventory, marketing, and product teams to ensure optimal stock levels and efficient supply chain operations.
Analyze purchasing data and generate reports to inform strategic decisions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3–5 years of proven experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in the electronics or retail sector.
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
Excellent relationship-building and communication abilities with vendors and internal teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP, PivotTables, formulas, etc.).
Strong analytical thinking, leadership, and decision-making capabilities.
