Engicon is seeking experienced professionals to join its Transport Planning and Smart Mobility team. We are hiring for two positions to support key projects across the region, with a focus on traffic engineering, modeling, and intelligent transportation systems. Both roles are based in Amman, with regional experience—particularly in the Gulf—considered an asset.
1. Mid-Level Traffic Engineer / Modeler
Experience: 8–10 years (Gulf experience preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
-Conduct traffic operations analysis and prepare Traffic Impact Studies
-Apply advanced transport modeling and demand forecasting techniques
-Use traffic analysis tools such as SYNCHRO, VISUM, VISSIM, HCS, and others
-Design and evaluate parking systems, internal circulation, and access strategies
-Ensure compliance with Saudi traffic standards (SHC, MUTCD, RCRC, MOMRA)
-Apply deep knowledge of the Highway Capacity Manual (HCM)
2. ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems) System Engineer
Experience: 10+ years total (minimum 5 years in GCC/Middle East/KSA)
Key Responsibilities:
-Plan, design, and support ITS infrastructure and smart mobility systems
-Implement technologies such as:
• Advanced Traffic Management Systems (ATMS)
• Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) and real-time systems
• Smart public transport & fare collection systems
• Electronic tolling and CCTV surveillance
• V2I and V2V communications
• Crowd and pilgrimage management systems
-Support the deployment of connected intersections and smart infrastructure initiatives
